For my context of practice presentation, i covered my interest within film and graphic deign within its industry. Within the talk, i touched upon the use of colour used within film design and its relation to genre as it is a rather interesting subject to me, how colour grading within both prop and poster has such an impact on peoples emotion to the film. The feedback from the session was more critical than most which was a good thing, it was made clear that i was looking more into film theory and drifting away from a graphic design lead essay. After speaking with the tutors at the end, I was advised to follow the genre within poster design for film as it held better resources for a graphics based dissertation. Just need a title now...
