OUGD601 tutorial 1 with tutor

After my presentation had some critical feedback on what I wanted to focus on for my dissertation. With it heading in more in a film theory direction than a graphic design one I wanted to make sure that I got the most out of the first tutorial of the module.

• After talking to my tutor about the current position, I had a better understanding about what i was going to go into for my essay. To keep what i had looked into for the use of colour grading and its relation to film genre we spoke about what connections I could make to graphic design.
• After discussing for a while, I decided to focus on the effects of movie genres on their posters and what it dictates
• The practical element could be based on how much of an impact posters have in showing the films genre
